Known Issues:
“What’s In Your Head?” mission (acquired from the Halloween NPCs in starter towns) still a little buggy when player changes sides. May also require some difficulty tweaking let us know what you think!
“Haunted Harbor” mission (acquired from the Halloween NPCs in starter towns) is very basic but will get a couple of tweaks before going live.
Halloween turn-in items don’t have anything to turn them in for yet, as the artwork is still getting finishing touches.
Some of the facepaints cause an error when trying to create a new character with them. They should all work once you’re in-game.
Buccaneer: The Jugular skill unintentionally has an additional “Armor Damage Reduction, All” effect added to it. It will be removed.
Differences between 2.8.22.0 and 2.8.58.0 include but aren’t limited to:
Treasure Aisle:
Added three more seasonal facepaints to the clothing section of Treasure Aisle.

Tough Crew skill “Second Wind” – reduced crew recovery rate from 25% to 15%.
Tough Crew skill “Exploit Weakness” – reduced crew damage from 15% to 10%.
Tough Crew skill “Endurance” – lowered morale recovery rate from 50% to 35%.
Tough Crew skill “Bloody Minds” – lowered Max Crew penalty from -25% to -20%; lowered Crew Damage Resistance from 45% to 20%; removed “Defense All +3” bonus.
Skirmish skill “Jugular” – added the following debuffs to successful broadside hits: Morale Recovery Rate -0.5%, Crew Recovery Rate: -0.5%.
Command skill “Maneuvers” – increased reset timer from 3 minutes to 5 minutes; lowered Crew Recovery Rate from 15% to 7.5%.
Command skill “Evasion” – increased reset timer from 3 minutes to 5 minutes; lowered Sail Defense from 3 to 2.
Command skill “Battle” – increased reset timer from 3 to 5 minutes; lowered “Accuracy, All” from 3 to 1; lowered damage from 3% to 2%.
Command skill “Speed” – increased reset timer from 3 minutes to 5 minutes.
Naval Officer Skill Changes:
Prestige Skill “Battle Doctrine Offense” – increased duration from 2 minutes to 3 minutes.
Prestige Skill “Battle Doctrine Defense” – increased duration from 2 minutes to 3 minutes.
Privateer Skill Changes:
Battle Skill “Ride the Wind” – added +3 accuracy.
Agility Skill “Agile Tactician” – decreased duration from 5 minutes to 4 minutes, decrease reset timer from 8 minutes to 4 minutes.
Cutthroat Skill Changes:
Destruction Skill “Cut Shroud” – battle speed debuff lowered from -30% to -25%.
Free Trader Skill Changes:
Escape Skill “Repel Grapples” – lowered grappling defense from 25 to 15, lowered duration from 90 seconds to 60 seconds.
Escape Skill “Evasion” – lowered Defense, All from 20 to 15.
Provisions Skill “Extra Rations” – increased reset timer from 5 to 8 minutes.
Ship Combat:
The speed at which you can board has been reduced from 8 to 6.
Avcom:
Brawling: Face Punch can now be used at any time during combat with or without being in a stance.
Fencing: Broken Defense’s damage resistance debuff was returned to its original value of -20%.
Fencing: Adrenaline was removed from the Bladework skill.
Fencing: Bladework now adds the effect “Fencer’s Rage” which grants +5% parry and +5% damage on each successful attack. The effect can be stacked up to 3 times.
General: Avatar run speed was unintentionally increased by 20% in the last build. This has been returned to its original values.
General: While in boarding combat, run speed has been reduced by 30%.
